Citizens have counted on Larry Brown for more than a decade to protect their interests. Your support of Larry Brown for County Commission will ensure that he will continue his efforts to:

• Be a fiscal watchdog on the County Commission, scrutinizing budgets and making sure there is accountability for every dollar being spent.
  
  
• Increase local regulation and inspection of health care facilities so Clark County residents are better protected against negligent medical practices such as those at Southern Nevada endoscopy clinics that put thousands of lives at risk.
  
  
• Work to re-energize and diversify the economy by pushing for development of renewable energy projects that create high-paying jobs while reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving air quality.
  
  
• Work with local and state officials to develop regulations against the kind of unscrupulous lending practices that led to the nation’s housing crisis and put thousands of Nevada families out of their homes.
  
  
• Continue working with Southern Nevada Water Authority officials to find new sources of water for the Las Vegas Valley while encouraging conservation and other water saving practices.
  
  
• Continue to protect our neighborhoods from poor planning and zoning decisions and supporting projects that adhere to the master plan and meet the highest standards. Larry will also continue to fight against “spot zoning” in the Northwest and encourage “infill” development that takes advantage of current infrastructure services.
  
  
• Continue to adhere to the highest ethical standards as a County Commissioner. Larry will fully support the ethics reforms adopted by the 2004 Ethics Task Force and he has always believed that government should be conducted in the “sunshine” and has always fully disclosed business relationships, including his service on the boards of charitable organizations.
